On a ₹1,000 sale

What reaches you

Your own link or coupon ₹800
80% yours 20% ours
A buyer we found for you ₹600
60% yours 40% ours
On your own platform ₹1,000

100% yours — a subscription instead of a share.

Six things, one catalogue

Everything you teach, on one account.

You are not buying six tools. A learner who bought your course sees your live batch in the same place, pays with the same cart, and appears in the same list of people you are teaching.

Courses

Recorded lessons and episodes, with downloadable material, progress tracking and a certificate at the end.

Live classes

Scheduled batches with real seat counts, a countdown, and Zoom or Google Meet joined from inside the lesson.

Mock exams

NEET, JEE, IBPS and SSC patterns with negative marking, section timing and per-section results.

Study material

Notes and multi-file packs served from a private store — not a public link somebody can forward.

Events

Ticketed workshops, online or in a room, with capacity and unique codes on the door.

Home tuition

Your subjects, your area, your rates — booked like an appointment rather than negotiated by message.

How you are paid

The rate depends on who found the buyer.

Not on how much you sell, and not on how long you have been here. Every order records which of these applied and why, and you can read it on your own earnings page — the same record that decided the payment.

80%

Your own link

They shared the link; the buyer arrived because of them.

80%

Your own coupon

They issued the code and gave up margin to make the sale — the strongest evidence of creator effort there is.

60%

We found them

Search, browse, recommendations or our email — we found the buyer.

A fourth rate exists for buyers we pay to acquire. It is not in use, and will not be until we run advertising — at which point it applies only to buyers who arrive that way.

Work it out

When does your own platform pay for itself?

On your own site we take nothing at all — you pay a flat subscription instead of a share. Below some volume the free plan wins; above it, it does not. Rather than assert a number, here is the arithmetic with your figures in it.

60%

Your link, your coupon, your social posts. The rest is people who found you through Learnova.

You keep

The own-platform figures assume you bring those buyers yourself. The split is decided by where a sale happens, not by which plan you are on — so anything that still sells through the marketplace is shared at the rates above, on every plan. Publishing to both is normal, and this comparison deliberately does not model it.

An estimate, and only that. It leaves out payment-processing costs, which apply on every plan and are shown to you on each order rather than quietly deducted. On Managed we are the seller of record and handle the tax, so what you keep there is after our costs. The rates and prices in this calculator are the live ones.

Three ways to run it

Start on ours. Move to your own when it is worth it.

The difference between the two paid plans is not features — it is who is the seller of record. That decides who issues the invoice, who charges the tax and whose payment account the money lands in.

Questions people ask first

Does it cost anything to list?
No. The Storefront plan is free for ever and there is no listing fee, no monthly minimum and no charge for having a catalogue. We are paid a share only when something sells, and on the paid plans we are paid a subscription and take no share at all.
Who owns the learners?
On your own platform, you do — they are your accounts, on your web address, and they are not shown anybody else's courses. On the marketplace a buyer is a Learnova account that has bought from you; you can always reach the people who bought from you, and you keep the 80% rate on everyone you brought.
Can I sell in both places at once?
Yes, and most people should. You choose per item whether it appears on the marketplace, only on your own site, or both. A sale on your own site is yours entirely; a sale on the marketplace is shared at the rate that matches who found the buyer.
What is the difference between Independent and Managed?
Who the seller of record is. On Independent you have your own GST registration and your own payment account, so you invoice the buyer and the money reaches you directly. On Managed we are the seller — we take the payment, charge the tax and handle refunds — which is the right answer if you would rather not run a GST registration.
How and when am I paid?
In rupees, into the account you nominate. Every order shows what it sold for, which rate applied and why, and what reached you — read from the same record that decided the payment, so your earnings page and your bank statement describe the same event.
Do I have to be exclusive to Learnova?
No. There is no exclusivity clause, and taking your own web address is a plan we sell you rather than a thing we make difficult.
